DAMPERS, DOORS & FIRESTOPPINGFIRE / SMOKE DAMPER SERVICESBRAND offers a comprehensive Damper inspection and maintenance program that is designed to meet the code requirements of NFPA - 90A. This code requires that all dampers are physically inspected every 4 years. Additionally, JCAHO also requires a 4 year physical inspection cycle on all fire and smoke dampers per EC 2.12.1.
MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS:BRAND offers an annual maintenance program that is designed to inspect 25% of facilities dampers each year. In addition to inspecting the dampers, BRAND will seal and correct any Firestop deficiencies located near the damper and within the barrier. This program benefits facility budgets by spreading the inspection costs over a four year period while keeping your dampers compliant with JCAHO, state and federal codes.
